It is a key Council principle to engage genuinely with the community. For us this means making it as easy as possible for you to get the information you need about our services, get involved in our decision-making processes and understand how any feedback you provide is used.
The Communications and Engagement Strategy is a key Council Plan goal. Across 2023 we engaged deeply with Councillors, staff and the community to develop the strategy. It was adopted in October 2023.
